Tucho: "Dishonest to Claim that Leo XIV Erases Francis"

Leo XIV has repeatedly stressed continuing Francis’s teaching, Cardinal Tucho Fernández told IlGiornale.it on 13 April.
He gives examples: At the January consistory, Leo XIV asked the cardinals to reread Evangelii Gaudium, and to reflect on its application again. Furthermore, Leo xIV has convened the presidents of the episcopal conferences to resume the reception of Amoris Laetitia.
"These are signs that help us understand that Francis is not gone."
Tucho’s view is that: “It is dishonest to claim that Pope Leo intends to undo the work of Francis’s pontificate.”
"There are many points of common ground between Leo XIV and Francis; more than opposition, one should see complementarity."
Additionally, Tucho recalled that when Francis first called him as Pope, he said, “I am Bergoglio.”

Calling Sin a Sin is a Kindness - Catholic Exchange

During my years of living as a pothead and porn addict, I was also a gamer. One of my favorite game series allowed players to create their own characters. When character creation in gaming first began, it was quite simple. We picked a few key features and the player’s sex, and that was it. However, by the time I retired from gaming, I would sometimes sit for hours trying to decide which traits and characteristics I wanted for my avatar. Too many choices paralyzed me.
Similarly, while living as a gay man, my best friend and I often discussed whether same-sex couples should be allowed to marry. Despite leaving our religion, we both felt deeply that marriage was not meant for same-sex couples. The Church’s clear stance defined our choices, which, though painful, were straightforward—a contrast to the endless options that caused me hesitation elsewhere.
A few years ago, while visiting my parents, my mom and I watched a documentary about Costco. In it, the business model was explained: …

BLESSED JOHN OF RUYSBROECK – ‘THE SPARKLING STONE‘ – Chapter VI – ‘OF THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HIRELINGS AND THE FAITHFUL…’; pages 104-105

[BLESSED JAN VAN RUYSBROEK – XIII-XIV Century AD; Ruisbroek, Holy Roman Empire/ Groenendael, Holy Roman Empire; Mystic, Spiritual Writer, Doctor Divinus Ecstaticus]
“Chapter VI ~ OF THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HIRELINGS AND THE FAITHFUL SERVANTS OF GOD
NOW you may mark this: that some men receive the gifts of God as hirelings, but others as faithful servants of God
; and these differ one from another in all inward works, that is, in love and intention, in feeling and in every exercise of the inward life.
Now understand this well: all those who love themselves so inordinately that they will not serve God, save for their own profit and because of their own reward, these separate themselves from God, and dwell in bondage and in their own selfhood; for they seek, and aim at, their own, in all that they do. And therefore, with all their prayers and with all their good works, they seek after temporal things, or may be strive after eternal things for their own benefit and for their own profit.…Ētahi atu

"But from that very hour in which, with God's help, he can overcome his selfhood—that is to say when he is so detached from himself that he is able to leave in the keeping of God everything of which he has need—behold, through doing this he is so well pleasing to God that God bestows upon him His grace. And, through grace, he feels true love: and love casts out doubt and fear, and fills the man with hope and trust, and thus he becomes a faithful servant, and means and loves God in all that he does. Behold, this is the difference between the faithful servant and the hireling.”

Cardinal Müller: “Israel’s Right to Exist Must Never Be Called into Question”

As a political, economic, technological, and military superpower, the United States bears a distinctive responsibility to contain dangerous regimes and dictatorships that pose a grave threat to the world. This position was articulated by Cardinal Gerhard Müller on Kath.net on 14 April.
He continues: “In light of present circumstances, the brutal crimes committed against one’s own people and against other nations must be confronted - not only through economic sanctions, but, where necessary, by military means.”
Cardinal Müller even draws a parallel with the Nazis: “The policy of appeasement toward Adolf Hitler proved catastrophic and exacted a devastating toll in World War II.”
Turning to Iran, Müller states: “The Iranian regime must be unequivocally denounced worldwide as a perversion of religion - religion which is ordered toward the worship of God and must never, in any form, be exploited to justify killing of innocent people.”
He envisions a just peace as one in which “the …Ētahi atu

1 – It prevents the damage caused by drugs created using mRNA technology, blocks the entry of Spike Protein into cells and, if the person was vaccinated, they can treat themselves for damage already done through Ivermectin.
2 – It only has beneficial effects and no harmful effects in the treatment of the C virus. In fact, even before entering the cell, it has already destroyed the virus in the blood.
3 – It has a very powerful anti-inflammatory action against and has a powerful impact on traumatic and orthopedic injuries, it strengthens muscles and has no side effects like corticosteroids.

Good question. I'm not a physician and I'm not giving advice. I'm sharing what works for me, because many people suffer from the long-term effects of Covid, and they get absolutely no help from their physician.
Some of the people I know who use the horse paste take it when they have caught a bug and can't shake it. It is actually pretty amazing.
Based on my body weight, I extrude 3 notches of the paste and eat it. Some people can't bear the taste and put it in a large sized capsule. It's so effective and safe that I really don't mind that it tastes like apple flavored Vaseline.
It's important to buy it at a farm supply store. Buying it on the internet isn't safe because it's often a look alike fraud that's not really made by Durvet.

The apple flavored horse paste is what I use. Same manufacturer, same dose. It helps me with long Covid symptoms.

Cardinals Cupich, McElroy, Tobin slammed for pushing leftist talking points on 60 Minutes - LifeSite

Mon Apr 13, 2026 - 3:20 pm EDTMon Apr 13, 2026 - 4:16 pm EDT
(
LifeSiteNews) — Before President Donald Trump publicly criticized American-born Pope Leo XIV, three U.S. cardinals – all appointed by Pope Francis – joined CBS’ 60 Minutes TV show to deliver leftist talking points and denounce Trump.
During their conversation with correspondent Nora O’Donnell, Cardinal Joseph Tobin of Newark, New Jersey, Cardinal Blase Cupich of Chicago, and Cardinal Robert McElroy of Washington, D.C., seemed to give credit for the resurgence of Catholicism within the U.S., especially young people, to Pope Leo.
The interview focused on issues that are favored by leftists, including allowing mass immigration into the U.S. and the condemning of military operations, while steering clear of abortion, euthanasia, and the impact of unbridled immigration on tens of millions of economically vulnerable American families.
The three were not asked about the scandal of clergy homosexual predation, which still casts …

Alexander Litvinenko accused Vladimir Putin of being a paedophile four months before he was poisoned | The Independent

Alexander Litvinenko’s accusation that Vladimir Putin was a paedophile may have been one of the motives for the Russian government to order his assassination, a report into the former Russian spy's death has found.
Sir Robert Owen’s inquiry looked at the former FSB agent’s “highly personal attacks” on the Russian President, which culminated with an article on the Chechenpress website in July 2006, four months before he was poisoned.
Mr Litvinenko’s article, which was published as evidence in the report, started by recounting a meeting between Mr Putin and a boy “aged four or five” in a square near the Kremlin.

“Putin kneeled, lifted the boy’s T-shirt and kissed his stomach,” Mr Litvinenko wrote.
“Nobody can understand why the Russian president did such a strange thing as kissing the stomach of an unfamiliar small boy.”
The former FSB agent claimed there were “blank spots” in Mr Putin’s career that could be explained by his superiors …

June consistory Not About Liturgy: Pope Leo XIV sent Easter greetings to the cardinals, outlining the June consistory. The letter has been published in full on SilereNonPossum. In it, Leo XIV praised the work on Francis's document 'Evangelii Gaudium' carried out in small groups at the January consistory. In June, he intends to focus specifically on the progress made by the groups regarding Evangelii Gaudium, particularly with regard to mission and the transmission of the faith. There is no mention of liturgy.

Leo writes to the cardinals: “Evangelii gaudium remains a key reference point”

Vatican City - On the occasion of Easter, Pope Leo XIV sent a letter to all the members of the College of Cardinals. The text, signed by the Pontiff before his departure for Algeria, comes after Leo XIV had already met the cardinals on several occasions, both individually and collectively. A gesture that confirms a style of governance rooted in direct dialogue, mutual trust and an authentically lived shared responsibility.
Easter greetings and thanks for the Consistory
The letter opens with a fraternal greeting and Easter good wishes, invoking “the peace of the risen Lord” upon a world the Pope describes as “suffering”. Leo XIV then takes the opportunity to thank the cardinals for their participation in last January’s Consistory, expressing particular appreciation for the quality of the work carried out in the groups and for the freedom of the interventions made during the assembly. The contributions gathered on that occasion are described as “a precious resource”, which the …

Bishop Robert Barron issued a response on EWTN after Donald Trump made a social media post criticizing the pope: “The statements made by President Trump on Truth Social regarding the Pope were entirely inappropriate and disrespectful. They don't contribute at all to a constructive conversation. It is the pope's prerogative to articulate Catholic doctrine and the principles that govern the moral life. In regard to the concrete application of those principles, people of good will can and do disagree." He also wrote, "I am very grateful for the many ways that the Trump administration has reached out to Catholics and other people of faith. It has been a high honor to serve on the Religious Liberty Commission. No president in my lifetime has shown a greater dedication to defending our first liberty. All that said, I think the President owes the Pope an apology.”
