Bishop Hervé Giraud of Viviers, France, has ordered the Famille Missionnaire de Notre-Dame (FMND), a Novus-Ordo community, to stop accepting new members and to suspend all religious vows, following a recent court ruling involving the community’s former superior, Fr Bernard Domini. The decision, announced on 30 March, follows a French court sentencing the former leader for “abuse of weakness”. However, the community’s lawyer described the ruling as 'close to an acquittal'. Both sides have appealed the verdict, meaning the case is not final. The bishop presented the measure as a precautionary step, but it has drawn strong criticism. Some families argue that it disregards the presumption of innocence and disrupts long-standing vocations. Parents have accused the bishop of “abuse of power” and of “destroying the religious lives” of their children by preventing them from making commitments that had been prepared for over many years. Bishop Giraud has since said [=words], he is willing …Aswan
The "Fog" of Disbelief Abril 12, 2026 - Second Sunday of Easter (or Sunday of Divine Mercy) Dear brothers and sisters, as Cardinal Cantalamessa has reminded us several times, over the past 150 years, modernity has spread a different narrative of the death of God in the West. A narrative that, instead of exploding in the joy of the Resurrection, as the Church attests, ends, as theorized by one of its most authoritative representatives, the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, in the sad wandering of the "superman" or the "beyond man" in an infinite nothingness. What good news, what a wonderful alternative, what boundless joy would be unleashed in the hearts of the men and women of our no longer Christian Western world in this beginning of the third millennium if, tired of wandering in the fog of disbelief, they awaken in their hearts the desire to contemplate and touch, like St. Thomas, the "signs" of God's merciful love manifested in Jesus His Son. Signs that the Risen Lord never …Aswan
The Heralds of the Gospel announced on April 5 in São Paulo that priestly ordinations will resume in April 2026, following a suspension in place since 2019. 31 acolytes will be ordained as deacons on April 11 and 26 deacons to the priesthood on April 12. The ordinations concern members of the clerical society of apostolic life Virgo Flos Carmeli, which is associated with the Heralds of the Gospel. The diaconal ordinations will be conferred by Fernando José Monteiro Guimarães, archbishop emeritus of the Military Ordinariate of Brazil. The priestly ordinations will be presided over by Raymundo Damasceno Assis, archbishop emeritus of Aparecida and Pontifical Commissioner. Ordinations within the Heralds had been suspended following a Vatican intervention that began in 2017 and was reinforced in 2019 with the appointment of a Pontifical Commissioner. During this period, candidates for ordination remained in a state of waiting, and no formal public accusations or clear timeline for resolution …Aswan
They are approved since they interpret Vatican Council II irrationally and not rationally. If they interpreted the Council rationally they would be Feeneyite traditionalists.
Receiving communion in the hand was the common practice of the Church in both East and West for the first 800 years of Christianity, and it was certainly considered reverent by the Fathers.
It may have been reverent and accepted in the early church, but the usurpers brought it back not for historical significance as they pretend but to denigrate the priesthood. The same with bringing up "the gifts". Take away the sacred and mysterious and dumb it down. reduce the priest to presider and shift all focus to the idiots in the pews and away from God. We also had Ember days and Rogation days in the "early church". Why not bring those back?
Tue Apr 7, 2026 - 4:27 pm EDTWed Apr 8, 2026 - 6:02 am EDT (LifeSiteNews) — During a press conference with Hungarian President Viktor Orbán, Vice President JD Vance urged Hungarians to resist strong-arm tactics from the European Union’s powerful bureaucracy, headquartered in Brussels, that threatens the nation’s sovereignty. “There have been too few people to stand up for western civilization,” Vance said. “The bureaucrats in Brussels have tried to destroy the economy of Hungary. They have tried to make Hungary less energy independent. They have tried to drive up costs for Hungarian consumers, and they’ve done it all because they hate this guy (Viktor Orban),” the Vice President said. “Why are bureaucrats in Brussels telling social media companies what information they’re giving to Hungarian voters?” he asked. “Hungarians are sovereign in their own country and they should be able to look at whatever information they would like to … without somebody in a faraway capital treating …
This is Easter Mass in 1940. Does anyone, serious about their faith, genuinely think Vatican II and the Novus Ordo and John Paul II’s communion in the hand standing were improvements on Catholic tradition?
Communion in the hand is beautiful and reverent. Communion in the hand was the standard of the Catholic Church for the first 800 years because Jesus said "Take and Eat", not "open your mouth and stick out your tongue"
Auxiliary Bishop Ludger Schepers of Essen, the 'queer representative' of the German Bishops' Conference, is calling on the Church to change its approach to gender dysphoria. Talking to KNA (April 7), he described a return to natural gender roles as a "misguided path". "The diversity of human identities - whether homosexual, transgender, or intersex - is not a modern construct, but part of God’s plan of creation," Monsignor Schepers claimed. Furthermore, he criticised the idea of "tradwives" on social media. He described the idea of the role of housewife as an "artificial aesthetic lacking real grounding" and a "problem for freedom and equality". Picture: Pressefoto Bistum Essen, #newsVhmdeuunbz

“We were already lost. And the only thing that could save us is if the Pope (Benedict XVI) dies, and he hasn't died, he resigned, oh thank God, and Bergoglio has saved us” Kiko Argüello, founder of the Neocatechumenal Way
Kiko Arguello and the Neo Cathechumenale Way interprets Vatican Council Ii irrationally and schismatically and not rationally and traditionally. If he interpreted Vatican Council II rationally he would be a Feeneyite on extra ecclesiam nulla salus. It would mean during the Catechesis of the Way, it would have to be said that the Catholic Church is like the Ark of Noah, a boat, in which all need to enter for salvation. Now at the catechesis which I attended they say in the past it was taught the Church was like a boat in which all need to enter, but now it is taught that all do not need to enter. It is with this error that the Way does mission. 08.04.2026 CARDINALS FERNANDEZ, LADARIA, O’MALLEY, BISHOP LIBASCI AND FR. With Vatican Council II and the Catechism interpreted rationally they become Feeneyite traditionalists …Aswan

International law is invoked only when it suits one’s purposes, Cardinal Pietro Parolin told the magazine Dialoghi in its recent edition: “Many governments have expressed outrage over the attacks on Ukrainian civilians by Russian missiles and drones, imposing sanctions on the aggressors. It does not seem to me that the same has happened in the case of the tragedy of Gaza’s destruction…” Vatican Believes in United Nations Furthermore, Cardinal Parolin praised the United Nations: “The Holy See continues to believe in the importance of the United Nations”. He only adds that “vetoes have limited the UN’s capacity to intervene.” Leo XIV in Communion with Communists' Bishops Regarding relations with China, Cardinal Parolin said that the secret agreement from 2018 is not a concordat or a political-diplomatic agreement, but rather a regulation of the process for appointing bishops. For him, the only decisive factor is communion with the Successor of Peter: “The fact that all bishops in …Aswan
