Holandský pomocný biskup Rob Mutsaerts vo svojom prejave na konferencii o katolíckej identite v Pittsburghu minulý víkend položil otázku, prečo by sa mladý muž chcel stať kňazom:
„Ak mu povedia, že sa stane správcom ôsmich farností, že jeho diár bude plný schôdzok a predovšetkým, že sa musí vyvarovať toho, aby niekoho urazil, a že po 20 rokoch mu možno niekto predloží strategický plán udržateľného hospodárenia s majetkom.“
„Je prekvapujúce, že sa vôbec niekto prihlási.“

«Se o que lhe dizem é: “Bem, irá tornar-se administrador de oito paróquias, a sua agenda estará repleta de reuniões e, acima de tudo, deve evitar ofender alguém; e, ao fim de 20 anos, alguém poderá apresentar-lhe um plano estratégico sobre gestão sustentável de bens imóveis.”»
